Looters Beware

Okay, a little background for this pic. Took me TWO WHOLE DAYS just to complete it. For the most part, I'm quite pleased how it turned out. Using hair+skin swatches from the great and helpful , I was able to achieve a more detailed and better looking rendering of human body and skin. It looks real nice, don't it? I also used different filters to get the effects for the clothing. The only thing I hate about this picture is the background. IT'S ALWAYS THE BACKGROUND!!!

Okay, but onto the actual story of the picture. This is supposed to be taking place on the fictional Salvation colony of Kyronite (pronouned Kai-ron-nite). Blue hasn't met any of his clones yet, but has to venture into settlements like this one in order to get supplies and required foodstuff for his long journeys. It just so happens that this time, a little thief was going around; he looted from a poor woman who called the authorities on him. As soon as the thief and Blue crossed paths, the thief slipped the small stolen bag from the woman into his satchel. After wards, Blue was stopped by a patrolman and the woman, who searched his stuff and found the missing money bag.

Blue tried to defend himself, saying that he had no idea how it got into his satchel, though the patrolman wasn't having any of it. He was about to arrest Blue...until Blue pushed him backwards to turn around and start casting a spell at the thief who had returned for the money.

In the end, Blue manages to escape, though he's in huge trouble because he's practicing magic without a license. He ends up sparing the thief, though this action turns out to be life-changing for the latter. So...yeah. Maybe I'll write out the exact sequence some time later. But I'm lovin' that thief so far. He's supposed to be a teenage alien boy ...Maybe I'll introduce him more into Color Brigade?
